Girls MAP Foundation Inc is a registered non-profit and next-generation philanthropic collective inclusively championing women and girls initiatives across Africa and the Diaspora. We are currently focused on developing educational programs that teach girls future-proof skills and fund their pursuit of knowledge.

We have hosted mentoring programs or social impact days - as we now call them - in Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya. Since the summer of 2020, we have transitioned to also hosting our mentoring programs virtually for girls from all over Africa to connect with those of the Diaspora. We will continue launching new destinations as we travel with Girls Trip Tours.

Every experience booked with Girls Trip Tours funds both the social impact day taking place during your trip and a Girls MAP scholar. We also accept rolling contributions to our scholarship fund for those interested in investing in a young girl’s future remotely.

“I had never been asked what I wanted for my life until today. Thank you for pushing me to dream. I now have the tools to think outside the box and make everything happen for myself. I also know what I need to work on. I have to improve my confidence and do away with procrastination.”

A NEW SENSE OF PRIDE

“This program boosted my self-confidence as a black woman and showed me that I can embrace my African roots, while becoming a successful leader. Before entering this program, I thought that my Nigerian name would prohibit me from success.” - Student, 15, USA

Success is a black woman

“I joined Girls MAP because a program like this is rare to find. It is specific to who I am and who I want to be. Before the program, success had a different definition and it didn’t look like me. Now, success is a black woman. I’ve seen her. I now know that I have something to offer the world.” - Student, 16, USA
